The Athens University, School of Medicine, Post-graduate program “Global Health – Disaster Medicine” in collaboration with the Emergency Medicine Department, University of Bern and the International Centre for Excellence in the Emergency Medicine, CEEM, Switzerland welcome you to the 11th International Conference “Management of Disaster Victims” in the Island of Rhodes, Greece. The Conference is organized with the support of the Jean Monnet Chair (JMC) EU humanitarian medicine and response in action (EU MEDAID 2020-2023)

Faculty
A combination of International professionals, with academic and field experience in large-scale natural and technological disasters, complex humanitarian emergencies and armed conflicts, mass casualty incidents and terrorist attacks along with experienced field workers as well as civil protection agencies and health care organizations representatives.

A 5 days combination of theoretical sessions, debates, practical exercises and simulation exercises in real life settings.
The objective is to equip the trainees with the specific technical and nontechnical skills necessary to efficiently address and coordinate medical preparedness and response during disasters and humanitarian emergencies.
